Do we learn from our children
A couple of years back my sons and i headed up to what is known as Knowles Ranch for some afternoon entertainment. Before i go on here i will tell you my sons have all worked hard at various jobs in town and two of them have been out on their own for several years now. The third is still in high school. Anyway this particular day we took our 50 dollar GT snow racers up there for some fun. Later that afternoon a local family that operates a business shows up with their new vehicles, trailers and snowmobiles probably in the hundred thousand dollar range all things said. The youngest son was quite taken with this extravagance and made the comment as to how lucky they were. My reply was thats what happens when you run a succesfull business on the backs of your employees. My eldest son immediately corrects me and says thats their fault for working for them. Who is right here well we all have some truth. This family started with nothing and worked hard to build a successful business and they apply that to their employees. This article is not an attack on any local businees just an example of how we view things. I have allways been a fighter for the working man but that can get lost sometimes in what should be reasonably expected from an employer. Sometimes that is a fine line between working and the unemployment line. Any thoughts out there

lets clarify things
Lately i have been reviewing other sites and posting my opinion which of course gets an equal and opposite reaction. What i neglected to do on my site was put my name down however a photo of myself is the first thing you would see. There was some confusion about who was behind ( the miners journey). I can honestly say it is strictly the opinion of myself Peter Rosner. Just like in the past when i have criticized councillers for unethical behavior or supported certain candidates i will continue to do so. On the subject of former mayor Irwin and counciller Sygetak i have both supported them and have debated them. That being said i have tremendous respect for the time they served this community they put their hearts into it. I have never served the public by becoming a counciller because i was either busy raising our children or volunteering. For the record i was a volunteer at the ski hill as well as doing ski patrol. My wife and i were also running CNP minor soccer and i coached soccer teams. At work i served on mine rescue teams and am a representative for the union serving the workers. In the future i plan to run for council but it will be when i know i am ready and can do a good job. I am not there yet and of course the citizens have to approve of me. Hopefully this clarifies some confusion.
